Family Ministry Goal
We strengthen families through Christ-centered social, spiritual and intergenerational
activities, equipping them to be faith builders in their homes.
Family Ministry Purpose Statement
Family Ministry exists to strengthen and involve members of all ages through spiritual
encouragement, social activities and a home-centered, church-supported ministry.
Family Ministry Impact Ministries:
Children's Ministry
We involve children (ages 1-12) in the life of the church, exciting and encouraging them
in their faith, helping them develop Christ-centered relationships.
Intergenerational Ministry
We involve members of all ages in the life of the church by building relationships through
encouragement, fellowship and service.
Marriage Enrichment Ministry
We provide opportunities to couples for spiritual growth, support and fellowship to
strengthen and enrich marriages.
Men's Ministry
We strengthen men in their roles as fathers, husbands and spiritual leaders in their homes
and in the church.
Newborn Ministry
We reach out to expectant and new parents with help and education, encouraging them to be
the primary faith teachers to their children.
Older Adult Ministry
Recognizing that many older adults need flexible scheduling and short-term commitments, we
provide opportunities for fellowship, service and education, encouraging them to share
their wisdom and faith.
Parenting Ministry
We encourage parents by offering support, education and fellowship to become faith
builders in their families.
Singles' Ministry
We encourage singles of all ages to come together for support and fellowship, offering
opportunities for growth in their relationship with God, their families and God's family
at Emmanuel.
Women's Ministry
We support and encourage women through Christ-centered relationships.
Young Adult Ministry
We encourage young adults to stay connected to the church by offering guidance, support
and opportunities for Christ-centered fellowship.
Youth Ministry
We involve youth (grades 7-12) in the life of the church by providing personal support and
individual faith development, and promoting Christian relationships through fellowship and
service.
