We connect members with each other for their spiritual welfare through Christian service and loving care.

Discipleship Ministry Purpose Statement
We equip our members to build relationships in order to guide and encourage each other to be imitators of Christ in daily living.

Assimilation
We create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for active participation in the life of the church.
    
Early Detection
We use a process that identifies members in need of care and concern.

Members Away From Emmanuel - Residing Elsewhere
We stay in touch with those people whose residence is out of reasonable driving distance for participation in events at Emmanuel but wish to keep their membership with our congregation.

Members Away From Emmanuel - Temporary
We stay in touch with those members who are away to college or serving in the Armed Services.

Small Group
We provide opportunities for small group fellowship and spiritual growth.

Shepherding
We reach out to all members through caring personal contacts.

Visitation
Families and individuals of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will receive one or more contacts each year.
