Womens Retreat 2012

"Living Life as Prayer"

The Emmanuel Women's Ministry Team invites you to attend our 2012 women's Retreat, February 17-19, at the Farmstead Inn in Shipshewana, Indiana. Our theme this year is "Living Life as Prayer" The retreat begins on Friday evening, February 17 with registration from 6:30 - 7:30 pm and draws to a conclusion with worship on Sunday morning. You won't want to miss this weekend of spiritual growth, fellowship, laughter and fun with other women of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Cost runs between $110 - $235 depending on your rooming choice. This price includes two nights stay, breakfast buffet both days, Saturday evening Banquet, snacks and materials.

Our presenter this year is Connie Denninger. Connie is from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Springfield, VA. Connie is a Pastor's wife and mom to 3 adult daughters who are all Lutheran School teachers. Connie has taught school from preschool to high school. She loves to see the ways a creative God has made creative people. Connie has been in parish ministry for almost 30 years. In 2012 she will graduate with a Masters in Church and Community Leadership. She is also the sister to our member, Teresa Davis.
