Bible Classes

Emmanuel's Bible Classes meet all through out the week and weekend. There are many subjects to choose from. As with church attendance, membership is not required to attend.

Lutheran Christianity

This class is designed for those who would like to learn the basic teachings of Christianity. This is a 12 week course provided by Emmanuel Lutheran Church as a service to our community. Lutheran Christianity provides a great opportunity to have your questions answered converning the spiritual and religious aspects of life. Enrolling in Luterhan Christianity in no way obligates you to join Emmanuel Luterhan Church. The class will be taught by Rev Eggold, Senior Pastor.

The Epistles
of Peter

In this class,Peter’s letters will be thoroughly explored and discussed. Peter helps us lift our eyes from our light and momentary troubles to the great destiny that our loving Father has prepared fro those who love Him. Instructors Jim Croxton and Tony Booker will lead this challenging study.

People of Purpose

Taught by Pastor Piering, People of Purpose will focus on 40 characters from the New Testament through whom God accomplished great things.  This class will not meet October 7th-28th.

Luther and the Gospel

During the Month of October you will have a unique opportunity to learn from one of the most skiled and accomplished teachers in the Lutheran church. Rev. Fr Cameron MacKenzie, a professor of history at Concordia Theological Seminary will be leading a four week study entitled Luther and the Gospel Part2. This course will explore how Luther can to understand the gospel and then apply it not only to himself but also to his students and the poeple of his day. This class will meet October 7th-28th.

Biblical Financial Management

Instructor David Schinbeckler will lead this in-depth study of Biblical stewardship principles, and assist participants in applying these principles to their lives in very practical ways.  Enrollment in this class requires a high level of commitment.

This group is designed for high school youth.  Youth Bible Study is led by Jon and Jen Bay and Debbie Schumm .

Worship in the Twenty-first Century

Led by Seminarian Josh Osbun, this class will further explore the new Lutheran Service Book and the liturgical traditions and services of the church.
